The process is straightforward and enjoyable, starting with some eLearning to familiarize yourself with the basics before arriving at Maui Dive’s shop. Then, under the guidance of a PADI Professional, you’ll learn essential safety guidelines and skills, such as clearing your mask and recovering your regulator, before heading out for a dive.
The excitement of breathing underwater, discovering Maui’s pristine coral reefs, and encountering turtles and various tropical fish is truly thrilling. PADI E-LEARNING (MANDATORY BEFORE YOUR DIVE): You will receive a personal login credential soon after you book your adventure
Complete the reading and videos provided in your eLearning login. This should take about 20-30 minutes.
Focus on understanding the basics of SCUBA diving, equipment usage, and key underwater skills.
AT THE SHOP:
Equipment Overview:
You will familiarize yourself with the gear you’ll be using, such as the mask, snorkel, fins, regulator, buoyancy control device (BCD), and tank.
Breathing Underwater:
You will get to practice breathing through your mouth using the regulator. This might initially feel strange, but you’ll get used to it.
Key Skills:
Clearing your mask: Practice removing water from your mask while underwater.
Regulator recovery: Learn how to recover your regulator if it comes out of your mouth.
Review the eLearning material with your instructor.
Go over basic skills in the water.
Once confident, proceed with your dive and enjoy exploring Maui’s coral reefs and marine life.

***48-Hour Cancellation Policy***
To cancel your tour please call us at 808-707-7260. Our agents are available Monday through Saturday between the hours of 8:30 am and 4 pm H.S.T. This activity requires that cancellations be made at least 48 hours before your tour’s start time so they may authorize a full refund. If you call outside our agent hours, please leave us a message or TEXT US. We check for voicemails and texts regularly, and will process your request as soon as possible.
**Refunds on cancellations made via voicemail, email or text can only be confirmed once an agent process it with the vendor(s).**
