Pick-Up Location: Pick-up is provided from major resorts and condominiums in the West and South Maui areas. Please refer to your voucher for the exact pick-up location for your tour. Please notice that tour buses are not allowed to be pick-up at residential areas or B&Bs.
IMPORTANT: If a pick-up is unavailable for your location, an alternate location will be designated. It will be your responsibility to be at the location to join your tour.
What to wear or bring:
Due to temperatures in the ’30s to ’40s, you should dress in warm and comfortable layers since, as you head down the mountain, temperatures will rise again to the ’80s.
Bring your battery-charged camera or phone with plenty of memory for your pictures.
You should also bring CASH for gratuity to your guide and restaurant server.

- Prepare for an early start with a 2:00 AM or 2:30 AM pickup (exact times vary based on location).
- Dress warmly, as temperatures can drop to around 20 degrees Fahrenheit, but the sunrise will surely warm the experience.
- Admission fees for Haleakala National Park are included.
- Stops will be made at the Ranger Station at the entrance of Haleakala National Park.
- Enjoy a comfortable 38-mile drive to the summit of the “House of the Sun.”
- Experience breathtaking sunrise viewing at 9,740 feet, witnessing the dawn of a new day from the top of the world.
- Visit the Haleakala Visitor Center, which features souvenirs, informative publications, and helpful staff.

Important Precautions:
- Guests are advised to dress warmly for the tour, as temperatures can fluctuate.
- This tour is not recommended for individuals with heart or respiratory conditions that may be exacerbated by high altitude.
- Guests who have recently scuba dived should wait 72 hours before participating in this tour.
- Please note: refunds are not available if the sunrise is not visible due to inclement weather conditions.
- The tour operates on rough, winding roads, so it is not advisable for pregnant women or those with back or motion issues.
Departure & Return Location: Guests will receive complimentary hotel pickup from major Maui hotels. Please provide the name of your hotel at the time of reservation and call the Reservations Department at 808-877-4242, 24 hours prior to the tour to reconfirm pickup details. Note that pickups are not allowed in residential areas or B&Bs.

- April 1 – September 30 (summer schedule): Depart at 2:00 AM, Return at 11:30 AM
- October 1 – March 31 (winter schedule): Depart at 2:30 AM, Return at 12:00 PM

This Activity Provider adopts a STRICT 48-HOUR CANCELLATION POLICY. Since this tour begins around 2 AM, cancellations MUST be received 3 days prior to your tour, NO EXCEPTIONS! You may call us at 808-707-7260 three (3) days prior to your tour date so we can refund the total paid on your tour. There will be NO REFUNDS to cancellations made in less than 3 days or to those who NO-SHOW to their tour.
Please call or text us at 808-707-7260 between the hours of 8:30 am and 4:30 pm H.S.T., at least three (3) days before your tour’s start time to cancel and receive a full refund.
