You will glide over the Pacific Ocean in search of pods of Humpback Whales, Maui’s yearly part-time residents, who arrive from Alaska to mate and give birth to their calves. Their vessels are fast, so you will get to those amazing gentle giants quicker and spend more time observing and sometimes even interacting with them. Although getting close to the whales would be against federal regulations, nothing stops the curious Humpbacks from approaching your boat to watch you, something that happens more often with smaller boats. You will even listen to the whales sing through a hydrophone and enjoy a full narration on the Humpback Whales’ migration patterns and behavior by Hawaii Ocean Rafting’s professional crew. To cancel your tour please call us at 808-707-7260. Our agents are available Monday through Saturday between the hours of 8:30 am and 4 pm H.S.T. This activity requires that cancellations be made at least 48 hours before your tour’s start time so they may authorize a full refund. If you call outside our agent hours, please leave us a message or TEXT US. We check for voicemails and texts regularly, and will process your request as soon as possible.
