Get ready for a day on Maui like no other as you join the team of Skyline Adventures for Maui’s only adventure that combines watching the sunrise atop Haleakala Crater, at about 10, 000 feet, with their award-winning 5-line zipline located above beautiful Kula, on the slopes of Mount Haleakala. Your day will begin as you are picked up at your hotel or condominium while still dark for the drive to Maui’s tallest mountain, Haleakala, the “House of the Sun”, where you will witness from the rim of the crater, an unforgettable sunrise as you observe the sky as it changes colors and realize the magnitude of the crater beneath you, as it is lit up by the sun. After your visit to the summit, you will head out to Skyline’s Haleakala Zipline for the thrills of zipping at speeds of 45 mph through their zipline course that also features 90 ft drops, lush green canyons, and an Indiana Jones-style swinging bridge. What to wear or bring:
Due to low temperatures ranging from 30 to 50 degrees Fahrenheit we recommend wearing warm clothes in layers, as temperatures will rise up again as you get to lower altitudes.
Cameras and cell phones are welcome, however, be sure to securely strap them to yourself. GoPro cameras are available to rent.
For your comfort, you should wear shorts and a t-shirt.
You can wear glasses and sunglasses, just be sure to bring your strap.
You can bring your backpack, which will be kept in a safe while you zip.
Bring your reef-safe sunscreen or clothes that help block the sun.
The following restrictions MUST be met by ALL participants:
Weight & Height
Minimum weight: 60 lbs (no exceptions)
Maximum weight: 260 lbs (no exceptions)
**Weigh-ins are mandatory and refunds are not provided if you do not fall into this weight and height range.
No pregnant women or those with neck/back/heart problems
Requirements:
Participants MUST wear closed-toe shoes
Participants MUST wear provided gear (helmets, hooks, etc.)
Age
Minimum Age: 8 years old. No exceptions
Minors ages 8-14 must be accompanied by an adult (18 & up)
Minors ages 15-17 may zipline without an adult, however, they must have an adult sign the liability waiver.
Health
Those who are allergic to insect stings should bring appropriate medication
Participants must be comfortable climbing stairs, walking on uneven terrain, and standing for 2 hours
Able to hike 2-2 1/2 miles at elevation over uneven surfaces
Participants must be able to carry up to 14 lbs
No pregnant riders
No one who suffered a recent injury that has not healed up
No one who has been through a surgical procedure in the last 12 months unless fully recovered.
No one under the influence of drugs or alcohol
Anyone who is found within the above restrictions will not be able to participate, and no refunds will be issued.
Liability Waiver
All participants must sign individual Waiver Forms on-site. A parent or legal guardian must sign the release for guests under the age of 18 to zipline.
Scuba Diving
For your safety, please schedule your zipline tour more than 24 hours after any scuba diving excursion.
COVID-19 PROTOCOLS
Staff screenings: Staff receives temperature checks every day prior to work.
Cleaning and disinfecting: Tour provider uses CDC recommended products to sanitize guest equipment, and frequent touchpoints on vehicles and at facilities throughout the day and to deep-clean and disinfect overnight.
** Participants may be required to wear a face mask and practice social distancing throughout the tour should such guidelines be reactivated by local, State, or Federal mandates.

Please call us at 808-707-8105 between the hours of 7 am and 7 pm H.S.T., at least 48 hours before your tour’s start time to cancel and receive a full refund.
**We DO NOT accept cancellation requests made via text, voicemail, or email. You MUST call to cancel your tour.**
Refunds will not be issued on:

* Anyone who does not meet any of the necessary requirements to participate in this activity
