About the charter…
Your fishing adventure begins with high-speed trolling for big game fish like Mahi Mahi and Wahoo as you head towards one of many reefs around the West and South Maui shores known for being home to tons of fish. There you will begin the bottom fishing portion of your charter. The crew will be coming by with light snacks and beverages, but feel free to bring your food and favorite drinks (no glass and 100% NO BANANAS!)
About the vessel…
The Strike Zone is a 43′ Delta Sportfisher, super fast and comfortable. It is licensed to carry 43 passengers, but for your comfort and enjoyment, it will go out with half capacity. It features a full walk-around deck with a very large cabin, a clean modern marine head, and all the latest gadgets including those “fish finder” ones!
Maximum number of participants per charter: 16 Bottom Fishing (each with own rod and reel) and 6 riders
Sport Fishing (trolling)Â Participants take turns sitting on the Pompanette 130 tournament series fighting chair. The crew will fillet the catches and share them among the anglers.
Usual Catches:
* Mahi-Mahi, or Dolphin Fish (not Flipper!) – Weight range: 15-50 lbs
* Ono, or Ahoo – Weight range: 12-50 lbs
* Ahi, or Yellowfin Tuna – Weight range: 40-200 lbs
* Marlin – Weight range: 50-175 lbs
* Blue Marlin – Weight range: 125-1,000 lbs
Bottom Fishing (stationary)Â Anglers will get to have their own rod and reel and may share them with a rider-companion. Your crew will assist you to identify the fish you catch, to confirm it is eatable, or should be released back in the water. Anglers are welcome to take their catch made during the bottom fishing portion of the charter.

Ulua/Papio – Weighs 10+ lbs
Uku (Gray Snapper) – Weighs 2-10+ lbs
Hawaiian Hogfish – Weighs 1-2 lbs
Kaku (Barracuda) – Weighs 10+ lbs

Checkin Time: 30 minutes prior to tour Departure Times: 7 AM and 1 PM
Parking: Available for a fee at Maalaea Harbor
What to bring or wear:
Wear a bathing suit or comfortable clothing.
You are welcome to bring your own FOOD & DRINKS. It’s OK to bring your favorite alcoholic beverage. Please NO GLASS and NO BANANAS!!
We recommend bringing a towel, sunscreen, sunglasses, a camera, and cash for crew gratuity.

Please call us at 808-707-8105 between the hours of 7 am and 7 pm H.S.T., before the expiration of the cancellation window to cancel and receive a full refund.
** We DO NOT accept cancellation requests made via text, voicemail, or email. You MUST call to cancel your tour. **
Refunds will not be issued on:

* LATE ARRIVALS – Please make sure to verify travel time to your activity
IMPORTANT: Regardless of how you perceive the weather to be unless you received a call from Strike Zone canceling the charter, you MUST check in at the booth at the set check-in time. In the event, your captain cancels the excursion you will receive a full refund. If the tour goes out without you, you will be forfeiting your payment.
