More about your Whale Watching cruise…
After your check-in at the PWF Front Street store, you will walk over to the Lahaina Harbor to board one of their power catamarans for an incredible time exploring Maui’s pristine waters to encounter the majestic Humpback Whales.
As your tour leaves Lahaina Harbor you will begin cruising the beautiful blue waters of the Pacific Ocean on your way to where the action is. Your captain will be in radio contact with boats in the area to find where the whales are most active so you can get the best whale watching cruise ever!
You will enjoy incredible views of West Maui, Lanai, and Molokai. Keep your eyes open for possible dolphins and other marine life sightings. During your ride, PWF’s marine Naturalists will give you fun and informative information on the Humpback Whales’ behaviors and characteristics. At your stops, your crew will launch underwater hydrophones so you can hear the Humpback songs.
Upon returning to Lahaina, you might want to stop again at the PWF Front Street Lahaina and pick up your free Marine Wildlife oversize postcards. In the unlikely event, your tour does not encounter a single whale sight, the PWF staff will gladly schedule your party on another whale watch cruise free of charge.
