We ask for your contact information at home and during your vacation for no other reason than to better serve you. We make every attempt to contact you as soon as we become aware of any information that would affect your Maui holiday. We must know your correct arrival and departure dates, the best phone number before and during your vacation, your hotel or condominium, etc. The more ways we have to reach you, the faster we can update you on any unforeseen situations.
Once your reservation is confirmed with the activity provider, our concierges will email your voucher(s) directly to you. Each activity will have its own voucher, valid for all participants in that booking. Please take a moment to review all details on your vouchers—such as the date, time, and number of participants—to ensure accuracy. If you notice any errors or discrepancies, please call or text us at 808-707-7260 as soon as possible so we can make the necessary corrections.
Online reservations are confirmed only after a concierge finalizes your order by contacting the vendor for confirmation. While we strive to keep our calendars accurately updated with vendor availability, there may be rare occasions when we cannot confirm an activity as initially ordered.
If this happens, one of our concierges will promptly reach out to discuss the available options, such as alternate dates, times, or a similar tour, so you can choose how to proceed. If we’re unable to find a suitable alternative, the hold on your credit card will be voided, and no charges will be processed. Rest assured, your card will NOT be charged unless you approve one of the offered alternatives.
Yes, refunds are available as long as you follow the applicable refund policy for your tour(s). Best of Maui Activities requires you to contact us at least 48 hours before the tour’s start time to cancel and receive a full refund. However, please note that certain activity vendors have stricter policies, requiring more advanced notice or even disallowing refunds once a reservation is confirmed.
If a vendor’s cancellation policy differs from ours, it will be clearly displayed on the activity’s webpage and on your voucher. In all cases, the vendor’s policy will take precedence over our 48-hour policy. While we will make every effort to secure a refund on your behalf if you’re outside the vendor’s requirements, the final decision lies solely with the vendor.

If the Activity Provider cancels your tour for any reason before its start time (e.g., due to weather or mechanical issues), you will receive a full refund. If the activity is canceled after it has started but before completion, the Activity Provider will determine the refund percentage, which we are required to abide by per our Vendor Agreement. To ensure you receive your refund promptly, please contact us directly at 1-808-707-7260 by CALL or TEXT. Do not rely on the activity provider to notify us, as they often fail to do so, which can delay your refund.
Both yes and no. You can make a reservation by calling our concierge lines at +1-808-707-7260. However, in order to secure your reservation, we will need your contact details and a valid payment card. Before the activity date, you must pay in full and accept the cancellation policy of the activity you wish to reserve. If you don’t show up or don’t get in touch with us to cancel your tour after the cancellation window, you will be responsible for the whole cost.
The price listed on our website is for one (1) adult and does not include any relevant taxes or fees. When you add your activity to the cart online, the entire cost will be displayed. Your concierge will discuss the cost breakdown with you over the phone. The total cost of your activity, including all relevant taxes and fees, will be displayed on your voucher and will correspond to the amount that was charged to your credit card or cards.
We don’t charge for our concierge services. To help defray the expense of our credit card processing fees, we tack on a 3% fee to discount activities. Regularly priced tours do not incur this fee. We guarantee that our prices will never exceed the retail prices of the vendors.
Based on the pricing we have negotiated with our Activity Vendors, we provide the most affordable rates available. We base our prices on the policies of our vendors. While some also provide elderly discounts, the majority of them give youngsters under the age of twelve discounted fees. Military and Kamaaina discounts are not always offered by vendors; if they are and we are unable to provide them, we will be happy to inform you.
Gratuities that you may like to pay to your waitress, guide, or crew member are not included unless otherwise noted on your voucher. Like most jobs in the service sector, their pay is modest, and a large amount of their income comes from gratuities. To make your activity as enjoyable as possible, we urge you to be kind to those who are trying their hardest. Additionally, we think tips should be earned rather than expected, so please use caution.
Yes. We highly recommend those who are licensed to drive to rent a car while on Maui. The average taxi, shuttle, or ridesharing rates to get you to and from the airport to your lodging will probably cost you the same or more than a 2-day car rental rate. Please check with your hotel or condominium for their parking rates (if any) and be sure to bring proper seats if bringing children under age 8. Rental car rates usually do not include insurance.
Transportation is not included in activities unless mentioned on the activity page on our website and in your voucher. Most sightseeing tour companies provide pick-up service from most south and west Maui hotels and condominiums. The vast majority of trips, including as luaus, dinner cruises, snorkeling tours, ziplines, and so on, do not include transportation.
We will provide you with detailed directions and links to the location of your activities via email, along with your activity vouchers. Our team is committed to assisting you in ensuring that you arrive at your events on time. However, it is important for you to take responsibility for familiarizing yourself with the directions and planning your travel time accordingly.
