BestofMauiActivities.com offers activities on Maui at the lowest possible rates. Our discount products will display the discount price in LARGE-BOLD print and “regular price” directly above it. Non-discounted products only show one price. All rates are displayed before any applicable taxes or fees are added.  The total cost per item (adult, child, etc.) will appear once you select your desired date, number of participants, and click on “BOOK NOW.”  Once in the shopping cart, you will have the opportunity to review the total rate BEFORE proceeding to the check-out and adding your payment information.

Some of the most common taxes and fees are Hawaii G.E. Tax (4.167%), Hawaii Boat Harbor Tax for boat tours (3%), Fuel Surcharge (variable, when applicable), and a CC processing fee (3%), applied only to discounted tours. There will be no CC processing fee charged on non-discounted activities. Payment is commonly made at the time of booking. To confirm a reservation made over the phone, we will require a valid credit card number, security code, and billing address without payment. The cardholder must agree to and abide by the cancellation policy, authorizing Best of Maui Activities to charge his/her credit card if they fail to cancel their reservation outside its cancellation policy.

The full payment of your activity is what guarantees your rate. Should you choose to make your payment at a later date, your rate will not be guaranteed. If there is an increase in your tour price, we will let you know, and if you choose to keep your reservation, we will require you to pay the new rate.

When you make a booking over the phone, we will confirm your reservations and process your credit card payment. When you book online, we will keep a hold on your credit card until the activities are confirmed as ordered.  At that point, we will capture and process your credit card. If we are unable to confirm your tour as requested, we will contact you. If we cannot find a satisfactory alternative, we will release the hold, and you will not see a charge going through your credit card.

BestOfMauiActivities.Com offers additional discounts on select Maui activities for customers making multiple bookings.  We can only apply those other discounts to those specific activities. Cancellations and Refunds Policy

1. CANCELLATIONS MADE BY A CUSTOMER:

In most cases, your activity purchase is 100% refundable, provided you cancel or reschedule your reservation before the cancellation deadline stipulated by the Activity Provider. Generally, we require a minimum of 48 hours before its check-in time to issue a refund. Some of the vendors we promote may require more extended periods, such as 72 hours, etc. Simultaneously, tours packaged in conjunction with airline transportation may be non-refundable, non-transferable, or changeable from the time the reservation is made with the Activity Provider. Exceptions to the BestofMauiActivities.Com 48-hour cancellation and rescheduling policy will be displayed on our website tour description and your Activity Voucher. If you make your reservation over the phone, our concierges are required to inform you of the specific cancellation and rescheduling policy for your tour(s) before processing your order. Please be advised we record all calls for quality assurance and training of our agents.

Please consider these essential items before placing your order(s): 

  1. No-Shows are NON-REFUNDABLE. If you know you will not arrive at your tour on time; you MUST contact us at +1-808-707-7260 before your scheduled check-in time.
  2. A tour canceled less than 48 hours before check-in time is NON-REFUNDABLE.
  3. Tours rescheduled less than 48 hours before check-in time, when approved by activity providers, are automatically considered NON-REFUNDABLE, even if the new activity date is more than 48 hours before the original date & time.
  4. Tours booked less than 48 hours before its start time are automatically NON-REFUNDABLE and NON-CHANGEABLE.

How to report a cancellation:**

  1. You must CALL our concierge lines at +1-808-707-7260 to cancel your tour(s), even if you made your reservation(s) online.  Our concierges are available daily from 8 AM until 5 PM, except for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Days (Times to be determined)
  2. If your activity start time is before 8 AM, your deadline to call in your cancellation for that tour will be at 5 PM, three (3) days before your tour, as our concierges will not be available before 8 AM, two (2) days before your tour.

***EXCEPTIONS to the above rules: ***

  1. Verifiable Medical Emergencies – Tour providers may authorize a refund in the event of a verifiable medical emergency.  In such a case, the vendor will most likely require a doctor’s note issued on the day of or day before the tour by a local Maui doctor.  Please note the exception will be considered only for the injured or sick participant unless dealing with a minor who may need adult supervision.  In such cases, an exception to this rule may also be granted for the child’s caregiver. This does not imply all other participants will be offered a refund, should the entire party decide not to attend the event.
  2. Road Closures – Tour Providers generally authorize a refund if you cannot arrive at your activity due to verifiable road closures (accidents, fires, etc.).  Please contact our concierge hotline as soon as you realize you will not arrive on time, no matter the reason, by calling us at +1-808-707-7260.

*** All exceptions will be considered on a case-by-case basis by the Activity Provider.  BestOfMauiActivities.Com will relay your circumstances to the Activity Provider and will make every attempt to get a refund approval; however, you must understand the final decision is not ours, but the Activity Provider’s, and we are bound by our Vendor Agreement to comply with their decision.

2. CANCELLATIONS MADE BY AN ACTIVITY PROVIDER:

Full Refund – You will receive 100% of the purchase price for every Maui activity canceled by a Tour Provider, before its start, for any reason (weather, mechanical, etc.).

Partial Refund – A Tour Provider may authorize a partial refund for tours which features were changed or cut short due to weather, mechanical or other circumstances beyond the Activity Provider’s control. The actual refund amount, if applicable,  will be determined by the Activity Provider and not by MauiActivities.Com. As per our Vendor Agreement, we are bound to comply with the refund amount authorized by the Activity Provider. 

No Refund – Tour providers reserve the right to make changes to certain aspects and features of their tours for reasons beyond their control, such as weather, road condition, etc. This will ensure participants will enjoy a safe and enjoyable experience. In such cases, the vendors will dictate if any refunds will be offered.

3. HOW REFUNDS ARE HANDLED:

IMPORTANT: ALL REFUNDS ON ACTIVITIES BOOKED BY US WILL BE HANDLED BY BEST OF MAUI ACTIVITIES

We make every attempt to process all refunds as soon as we become aware of the tour cancellation or receive vendor authorization.

We recommend you to call us at 808-707-7260 to report the cancellation of your tour by your Activity Provider. This will assure you we are aware of the cancellation and will be processing your refund as soon as possible.
